My Favorite Christmas Cards for this Holiday Season

October 30, 2017Lifestyle0

Halloween is quickly creeping upon us and you know what that means? Then comes Thanksgiving and then Christmas also known as the best time of the year. Every year, despite the fact that I am 24 and out of the house, still takes family photos and sends out Christmas cards. And every year my parents ask me for my opinion on what Christmas cards we should send out. Luckily, this year I teamed up with Basic Invites, a company that specializes in stationary, holiday cards, invitations, and announcements. They’ve got a great deal going on right now but I want to tell you why they should be your go-to’s this holiday season.

Custom samples

If you’re anything like me, you’re a little indecisive and a perfectionist. This can make finding a holiday card extremely hard. Especially because Basic Invites offers over 250 Christmas card and holiday card designs. Lucky for you, they offer the opportunity to order a printed sample of the card they designed in order to see appearance and the feel of the paper before they place the order. Change your mind? That’s okay. Your final order hasn’t been placed yet!

Colors on colors on colors

Another perk is the endless amounts of colors, for both the cards and the envelopes. Once you select the design for the card, you can change the color of each element to one of the 180 colors they offer. If you’re looking for something with a little pizazz, they even offer foil in three different colors: gold, silver, and rose gold. And to top it off, once you’re happy with the final design, you then get to choose one of 40 colors for the envelope. This may sound silly to some but this gives you the choice to really customize each and every detail, making them the cards you are proud to share.

Address capturing service

Technology has taken over our lives and with good reason. It makes a lot of things A LOT easier. Remember the days of having an address book with everyone’s addresses, phone numbers, birthdays? If you don’t, you’re too young to be reading my blog, you should go. JK. But now we turn to Facebook and other social media for everything. How many times have you been added to a Facebook group in order to get addresses for a wedding invite or something? It’s truly the future. And Basic Invites uses the same technology. All you have to do is share a link to your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatever social media site you prefer, and your friends and family can fill out their addresses and store them for when it’s time to send out the cards. Plus, address printing is free on all holiday card orders! It’s truly a win, win.

The price

Not only are the designs to die for but the prices are too. And even better, they’ve got a special going on for all holiday party invitations, Christmas Eve party invitations, and Christmas cards. You’ll get 30% off your order if you use the code holi30 so be sure you don’t miss out!

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely excited to send out my Christmas cards this year. I’m gonna get mine ordered here soon and I can’t wait to share them with you guys 🙂 Is it too early to listen to Christmas music yet? Oh well…

XO
