Roaming Riley

At Home Instagram Inspiration

April 24, 2020Lifestyle240

Many of us are used to being out and about and shooting Instagram content all over town. Whether it’s our favorite coffee shop or the aesthetic walls around town, shooting content is much easier when you’re able to leave your house.

However, this doesn’t always have to be the case. There are plenty of ways that you can still create gorgeous content or your Instagram in the comfort of your own home. I’m currently super into the simple minimalistic style so most of these photos will have that element to them, however, there are many different ways to spice these simple photos up. All it requires is a little creativity!

your food:

You don’t need to go out for a fancy brunch with the girlfriends to get a gorgeous breakfast shot. Wake up one morning and make a total Instagram-worthy breakfast!

your favorite book:

All of this time at home means you’ve got plenty of time to read that book that you’ve been meaning to get to for months. Why not show it off on  your Instagram? Maybe get people talking about what they’re reading or spark a new book club.

your sweats:

Let’s face it, most of use aren’t putting on real clothes anymore. If we do, it happens once in a blue moon. However, sweat sets are all the rage right now. Especially if they involve tie-dye. So show off that comfy style!

accessorize:

Dressing up every outfit has become quite the trend these days. Why not show off your favorite jewelry, shoes, or even your socks? These photos are simple and will only take you 2 minutes to take.

play with shadows:

Playing with the natural light of your house makes for some of the most stunning photos. So grab a glass of wine or simply use your body to create this look.

Collage:

Put together a collage of selfies. Shoot from your bed or simply put on your favorite outfit and take millions of pictures. Pick your favorites and create a collage for an editorial look.

drinks:

If you’re anything like me, you’re making coffee and cocktails far more often than you usually do. I’m turning into quite the barista and bartender. Make yourself an insta-worthy cocktail or latte and put it on the ‘gram. Then you can enjoy it afterwards.

put together a picnic

With the weather warming up, now is a great time to go to your local park (or your backyard) with a basket full of wine, cheese, crackers, fruit, etc. Arrange it, snap a quick pic, and then enjoy

show off your fav products

I don’t know about you, but I love learning about other people’s favorite beauty products. Whether it’s make-up, hair product, or skincare products, I want to know all about them. Why not show off your favorites?
